Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment and Treatment
Carry out full psychological assessments and prepare an individual treatment plan for each patient.
Deliver therapy for a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
Provide individual therapy, and couples or family therapy where appropriate.
Deliver sessions in Arabic and in English, at the clinic and through teletherapy.
Clinical Quality and Records
Keep accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards and Dubai Health Authority requirements.
Monitor each patient's progress and adjust the treatment plan based on clinical outcomes.
Handle all patient information in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and clinical confidentiality standards.
Multidisciplinary Care
Take part in case discussions with the wider clinical team to agree integrated care for shared patients.
Refer patients to psychiatrists or other specialists within Lumen when their needs require it.
Support the quality and consistency of therapy across the clinic.
Patient Education
Help patients understand their condition and the steps they can take to protect their wellbeing.
Support clinically led workshops and patient education sessions where a therapist contribution is needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling, or a related field.
Licensed, or immediately eligible for a licence, to practise psychotherapy in Dubai.
Three to five years of clinical experience delivering therapy.
Experience with adult patients. Experience with adolescents and with couples therapy is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the main therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required. This is essential for the role.
