Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Maths and Science Teacher based in Abu Dhabi. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging maths and science lessons aligned with the curriculum and appropriate for the students’ age and skill levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, explaining concepts clearly, facilitating practical activities or experiments, and assessing student progress through classwork, homework, and tests. The role involves providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records of student performance, and communicating with families or guardians as needed. The teacher will also contribute to a positive classroom environment, support diverse learning needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and resources. Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in mathematics and science, with the ability to teach core concepts clearly and accurately. Experience planning and delivering structured lessons, including creating teaching materials, assessments, and differentiated activities. Classroom management skills, including maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment and supporting diverse learning styles. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues from different backgrounds. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field; teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred. Prior teaching or tutoring experience, ideally in school or learning center settings and with relevant age groups. Ability to work part-time on-site in Abu Dhabi, with reliability in scheduling and commitment to student learning goals. Familiarity with modern teaching methods, basic educational technology, and approaches that support inclusive, learner-centered education.
