JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Specialist Legal Oversight is responsible for providing expert legal interpretation and regulatory advice across Dubai Media Council's media and gaming regulatory framework. The role holder independently develops and reviews legislation, regulatory instruments, legal opinions, and governance frameworks governing licensing, permits, content regulation, compliance, enforcement, and emerging media activities. The Senior Specialist Legal Oversight also supports the development of legally robust regulatory policies, advises on complex regulatory matters, contributes to legislative reform initiatives, and promotes consistency in the application of media laws across Dubai's regulatory ecosystem. The role holder is expected to demonstrate strong teamwork skills and carry out his/her duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.
