Senior Manager – Programme Management (Airfield Systems & CNS/STM Coordination)

What you'll deliver

• You’ll lead the end‑to‑end delivery of airfield and airside systems projects from concept and business case through to operational handover.
• You’ll manage projects in a live aerodrome environment, ensuring minimal impact to safety, capacity, operations, and maintenance.
• You’ll develop and execute operationally driven project delivery plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, procurement, and governance.
• You’ll drive strong stakeholder engagement across internal departments, regulators, operators, and external partners.
• You’ll navigate and resolve complex technical, operational, and stakeholder challenges using structured problem‑solving.
• You’ll oversee Operational Readiness, Activation, and Transition (ORAT) to ensure systems are fit for purpose and fully integrated.
• You’ll define, document, and govern project requirements aligned to operational needs and delivery feasibility.
• You’ll facilitate pre‑concept and design activities with Design, Research, and SME teams.
• You’ll drive project approvals and maintain robust documentation and governance throughout delivery. 

What you bring

• You’ll be educated to a Bachelor’s degree level in Engineering, Project management or related with atleast 7-10 years of relevant experience within Aviation, Airports, Complex Infrastructure, Special Systems. 
• You’ll have proven leadership in airfield or airport systems project management within complex operational environments. 
• You’ll have a strong understanding of aerodrome maneuvering areas and airside operations. 
• You’ll have working knowledge of airside systems and assets, such as AGLCMS, ATCT interfaces, surveillance systems, airfield communications, cameras, and centralized control systems. 
• You’’ have demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and build trusted, collaborative relationships. 
• You’ll have previous experience delivering projects through complex technical, operational, and stakeholder constraints. 
• You’ll have strong capability in project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, budget control, and contract administration. 
• You’ll have experience with Operational Readiness and transition into live operations.
• You’ll have ability to translate operational requirements into practical, deliverable project solutions.
