Resident Engineer (Red Hat Open Shift & Infrastructure) – Dubai Location: Client Office, UCMC-Dubai (Onsite) Duration: 1 Year (extendable) Salary: Open + Single Benefits (negotiable based on current salary) Nationality: Any (Candidates already in Dubai with MOFA-attested degree preferred) We are seeking a Resident Engineer specializing in Red Hat Open Shift & Infrastructure to join our client’s onsite team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Linux system administration, Open Shift cluster management, and Red Hat Satellite Server operations. Key Responsibilities Open Shift Administration: Manage, maintain, and upgrade Open Shift clusters; handle patching, scaling, access control, routing, and monitoring. Linux Systems Management: Perform advanced RHEL administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Satellite Infrastructure Management: Administer Red Hat Satellite Server for lifecycle management, patching, and compliance. Vendor Coordination: Act as liaison with Red Hat TAM, manage support cases, and ensure strategic alignment. Proactive Maintenance: Conduct system health checks, capacity planning, and monitoring to prevent downtime. Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and enterprise infrastructure. Proven expertise in Red Hat Open Shift (v4.x preferred) and container runtimes. Strong knowledge of RHEL 7/8/9/10 administration and lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite Server for patching and provisioning. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Desired Qualifications Experience with RHACM and RHACS for advanced cluster operations and security. Familiarity with Open Shift Data Foundation (ODF) and Red Hat Quay. Red Hat certifications such as RHCE, RHCSA, or Open Shift Specialist are highly valued.????
