Position: Electro-Mechanical In-Charge (Maintenance) Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Company: Hassani Group of Companies Department: Engineering & Maintenance Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Hassani Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and proactive Electro-Mechanical In-Charge to oversee the maintenance and reliability of our production machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, electrical systems, and mechanical maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment availability while minimizing production downtime. Key Responsibilities Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment. Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, modifications, and fault diagnosis. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system faults. Ensure smooth operation of production lines by minimizing equipment downtime. Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions. Supervise maintenance technicians and allocate daily maintenance tasks. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and machine manuals. Install, commission, and optimize new machinery and production equipment. Maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, control panels, and industrial instrumentation. Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal operational disruption. Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and company procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased equipment reliability. Required Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of industrial maintenance experience. Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or maintenance in-charge role preferred. Experience in manufacturing or production industries. Technical Skills Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or equivalent). Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial automation systems. Expertise in electrical control panels, MCCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and industrial wiring. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills involving motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
