About Tech Revolt Tech Revolt is the GCC's independent technology newsroom, covering enterprise AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure and the sectors reshaping the region. We hold media partnerships with GITEX Global, Global AI Show Riyadh and GITEX AI Europe (Berlin), and are building a regional editorial base that reports on the technology stories that matter. We are a small team. Everyone here ships and owns outcomes.
Role We are hiring a Designer to bring Tech Revolt's journalism to life across daily editorial, magazine editions and social. You will work directly with the writers, turning stories into clean, on-brand visuals at newsroom pace. This is a design role, end to end. Our templates and visual system are already built, so your job is to produce within them at volume, keep every piece sharp and consistent, and catch the small things that matter, including typos, before anything ships.
Focus Allocation FOCUS AREA %Daily Editorial Design 55%Brand Consistency & Quality 20%Magazine Production 15%Data Visualisation & Infographics 10% Responsibilities→ Design daily editorial assets: article graphics, social cards, and newsletter visuals.→ Work directly with writers to visualise stories, briefs, and features.→ Support magazine production across layout, spreads and covers, within existing templates.→ Build clear data visualisations and infographics that make complex tech stories easy to follow.→ Keep all output consistent with Tech Revolt's brand and visual system.→ Proof your own work and flag copy errors, including typos, before publication.
What we are looking for → 3 to 4 years of design experience, ideally in media, publishing or a fast-paced content environment.→ Strong command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).→ Basic video editing skills.→ Comfortable working within an established template system and brand.→ Good written English and a sharp eye for detail, able to catch typos and copy errors.→ Strong communication skills and genuinely great at teamwork.→ Highly organised, self-directed, and able to hold multiple pieces in flight without dropping any.→ Comfortable working to daily deadlines.
Nice to have→ Experience designing data visualisations or infographics.→ Magazine or print production experience.→ Motion or basic animation skills (After Effects) for social.
