Desired Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and monitor NDT activities for cross-country pipeline construction.
Review and approve NDT procedures, inspection plans, and testing methodologies.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Welding, Construction, Third-Party Inspection (TPI), and Client representatives.
Interpret and evaluate NDT results and recommend corrective actions where required.
Supervise RT, UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT, and VT inspections.
Verify NDT technicians' qualifications and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
Review welding inspection reports, NDT records, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, HSE standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Prepare daily, weekly, and final quality reports for project management and clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects with significant exposure to Cross Country Pipeline construction.
ASNT Level III Certification (RT/UT/MT/PT/VT) is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, ASME Section IX, API 1104, ISO, and international inspection standards.
Experience with advanced NDT techniques such as PAUT and TOFD is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in welding inspection, pipeline girth weld inspection, coating inspection, and hydrotest support.
Strong documentation, reporting, and client coordination skills.
Previous ADNOC or other major Middle East Oil & Gas project experience will be an advantage.

BGAS or NACE Certification (Added Advantage)
