Role Description The Senior Trade Marketing role at Foodiverse is a contract, on-site position based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing plans that drive product visibility, brand awareness, and sales within key retail and foodservice channels. Day-to-day tasks include planning promotions, coordinating with sales teams, analyzing market and channel performance, and managing the implementation of in-store activation, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials. The Senior Trade Marketer will work closely with marketing, sales, and distribution partners to optimize trade spend, track campaign effectiveness, and ensure alignment with overall brand and category strategies. The role also involves preparing regular performance reports, monitoring competitor activity, and recommending data-driven improvements to trade programs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Market Planning and Trade Marketing skills, with experience designing and executing trade campaigns in FMCG or F&B. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, measure ROI of trade activities, and identify growth opportunities. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Marketing skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners and to translate brand strategies into trade initiatives. Candidates should ideally have experience in FMCG distribution, channel management, and category management within the MENA region. Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Business, Commerce) and demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point. Candidates should be able to work on-site in Sharjah Emirate, manage multiple projects concurrently, and maintain strong attention to detail under tight deadlines. Experience in trade marketing for food and beverage brands and familiarity with UAE retail and foodservice channels is highly beneficial.
