- Assist in the design and drafting of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layout, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
- Support senior engineers in performing load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Conduct site visits to gather information, inspect installations, and troubleshoot issues, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Prepare technical documentation, such as equipment schedules, submittal reviews, and project reports, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is highly preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or co-op experience in HVAC design or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
