Key Responsibilities

1. Departmental Build-Out & IFRS Compliance

• Architect, build, and lead Xantory’s Accounting and Treasury divisions to support rapid scaling across multiple operating verticals.
• Establish rigorous accounting policies, frameworks, and internal controls, ensuring all financial reporting, consolidations, and day-to-day accounting work are conducted strictly in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Guarantee full compliance with UAE financial regulations, maintaining oversight of Corporate Tax implementations, VAT filings, and statutory auditing processes.

2. Strategic Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Develop the corporate treasury strategy from scratch, optimizing working capital, liquidity management, and cash flow across construction, processing, and farming operations.
• Manage banking and institutional relationships, secure debt or equity financing structures, and execute funding operations to support large-scale infrastructure expansion.
• Implement scalable ERP systems, financial controls, and performance dashboards to provide the executive team with real-time visibility into consolidated cash positions and division-level profitability.

3. Strategic Financial Planning & Capital Allocation

• Lead comprehensive financial planning, P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting for the Vertical Indoor Farming, Food Processing, and AI Datacenter divisions.
• Drive capital deployment for advanced infrastructure rollouts, specifically managing the complex CapEx budgeting, cash flow, and ROI modeling for our modular AI data center network—overseeing the complete financial lifecycle of our data center facilities.
• Evaluate supply chain economics, manufacturing costs, and new infrastructure expansion opportunities through rigorous risk assessment and financial modeling.

4. Commercial Partnering & Procurement Finance

• Collaborate directly with division heads—from modular infrastructure architects to agricultural and processing leads—to align physical output and project milestones with financial targets.
• Structure and negotiate complex vendor, contractor, and supplier agreements to ensure cost efficiency and risk mitigation in both construction phases and ongoing supply chains.
• Develop robust pricing strategies for specialized produce and food processing outputs to maximize market competitiveness and margin growth.

Skills

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years functioning as a Finance Director, VP of Finance, or CFO.
• Extensive, hands-on expertise in establishing and scaling Accounting and Treasury departments, coupled with a deep, technical mastery of IFRS standards.
• Thorough understanding of the UAE business landscape, local regulatory environment, and corporate tax framework.
• Proven track record managing finances in CapEx-intensive industries (e.g., infrastructure, construction, advanced manufacturing, or commercial agriculture).
• Active professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) is strictly required; an MBA or advanced degree in finance is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional analytical capability with hands-on experience evaluating large-scale infrastructure build-outs and complex, multi-vertical revenue streams.
