Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our fit-out and interior design company. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing drawings, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil and interior fit-out works at project sites.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and understand shop drawings, construction drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
• Ensure site works are executed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly updates to management.
• Check site measurements, quantities, and material requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available as per the project schedule.
• Inspect completed works and identify any quality issues or defects.
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure work is completed within the required timeline.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, quotations, and variation works when required.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants during site inspections and technical discussions.
• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and site procedures.
• Maintain proper site documentation, reports, measurements, and project records.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely solutions.
• Support the project team in achieving quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Skills

Job Description / Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience, preferably in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil and interior fit-out works.
• Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, site measurements, and material estimation.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under project deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
• UAE driving license would be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work at project sites as required.
