- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for UAV flight-control boards.
- Develop hardware drivers for IMU, GPS, airspeed sensors, and other avionics hardware.
- Implement and manage communication protocols including UART, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
- Develop payload and servo control systems.
- Integrate embedded software with avionics and flight-control hardware.
- Perform system-level integration, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Work closely with avionics hardware, flight-control, and systems engineers.
- Support prototype development and flight-test activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and real-time embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience developing hardware drivers and interfacing with sensors.
- Familiarity with RTOS, STM32, ARM Cortex, or similar platforms.
- Experience with UAVs, drones, flight-control systems, or aerospace applications is an advantage.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
