Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise civil works associated with EHV Cable installation. Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Coordinate civil activities with cable-laying and electrical teams. Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity. Coordinate inspections, approvals, and as-built documentation. Resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of assigned works. Professional knowledge of Civil Construction Works. Coordinate excavation and reinstatement around cable joints and termination locations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Proven experience in 132k V/220k V/ and or 400k V. Preferably experienced in DEWA Transmission Cable Projects. Candidates with DEWA / SEWA / Etihad WE project experience will be considered. Strong technical knowledge of civil works related to EHV cable installation. Hands-on experience in site execution, cable trenches, ducts, joint bays, manholes, excavation, backfilling, reinstatement, and associated civil works. Ability to coordinate effectively with electrical, construction, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, and subcontractors. Strong problem-solving and site management skills. Professional attitude with sincerity, honesty, and commitment. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
