Commercial Contracts Bilingual (Arabic/English) Paralegal – Flexible Secondment We are looking for a sharp Commercial Contracts Paralegal / Junior Lawyer to provide holiday and absence cover within an established legal function in Abu Dhabi. The assignment will initially be for one month, with genuine potential to extend. This is a hands-on commercial contracts role suited to someone who can quickly get up to speed, work independently and provide reliable day-to-day support across commercial and consultancy agreements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Review, amend and adapt commercial contracts and consultancy agreements. 2. Identify ambiguity, unclear obligations and potentially problematic contractual provisions. 3. Review and flag weak, unclear or commercially unfavourable payment terms. 4. Assist with drafting and revising agreements as required. 5. Keep urgent contractual matters progressing and ensure key actions do not slip through the cracks. 6. Work closely with internal stakeholders and the existing legal function. 7. Provide practical, commercially minded legal and contract support in a fast-moving environment. 1. Strong hands-on experience with commercial contracts. 2. Experience reviewing, drafting and/or amending commercial and consultancy agreements. 3. Sound commercial judgment and excellent attention to detail. 4. Ability to identify ambiguity, contractual risk and unclear obligations. 5. Able to work quickly and effectively when dealing with urgent matters. 6. Paralegal applicants must be bilingual in Arabic and English. 7. Must be available to work on a freelance basis or hold a UAE Golden Visa. 8. Available for an initial one-month assignment, with the possibility of extension. 9. Able to work in Abu Dhabi.
