Job Opportunity | Head of Revenue Monitoring Department

Job Title: Head of Revenue Monitoring Department

A government authority in Ajman Emirate seeks a Head of Revenue Monitoring Department to join its team, lead revenue monitoring and collection of government revenues, manage receivables operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and processes related to the Smart Payment Gateway.


Key Responsibilities

Supervise government entities’ follow-up on revenue and receivables collection and approve annual plans for general revenue monitoring.

Analyze deviations between actual financial performance and plan, and approve proposals related to debt collection and bad/overdue receivables.

Oversee the follow-up of taxes and privileges revenue collection and supervise it.

Lead the development of standards and models for measuring and forecasting revenues in the short, medium, and long term.

Review and approve statistical models and reports related to government revenues.

Oversee the development and update of guides for coding and classification of assets, materials, and services.

Manage publishing government services and fees based on the Government Fees Gateway.

Oversee the preparation and review of Unified Government Revenues Reports and provide development recommendations.

Oversee invoicing and bank guarantees for partners of the Smart Payment Gateway.

Oversee daily and periodic gateway operations, including financial reconciliations, transfers, and processing variances between collected amounts, recorded amounts, and remittance to bank accounts.

Lead and evaluate team performance, set KPIs and operational targets in line with the department’s strategic goals.

Oversee training plans, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and department risk management.
