JOB VACANCY : GENERAL ACCOUNTANTS (3 POSITIONS)

Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-time (As per UAE Labor Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years in Accounting & Finance

About the Roles

We are a diversified business group in Dubai currently seeking three (3) highly experienced Accountants to manage the financial operations of three distinct companies under our umbrella. Each position requires an independent professional capable of handling end-to-end accounting up to finalization, with sharp industry-specific knowledge.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Applicable to All 3 Roles)

• End-to-End Bookkeeping: Maintain precise day-to-day accounting records using advanced accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or QuickBooks).
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• UAE Tax Compliance: Handle accurate calculations, filing, and reconciliation of monthly/quarterly UAE VAT (5%) and ensure alignment with the new UAE Corporate Tax (9%) regulations.
• Banking & Audits: Perform regular bank reconciliations and lead the preparation of documents for annual external financial audits.
• Payroll Processing: Manage employee payroll transfers in strict compliance with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) Wages Protection System (WPS).

INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC VACANCY BREAKDOWN

Position 1: Accountant –Protocolsone Software Sales Company

• Specific Focus: Managing recurring SaaS subscription revenues, deferred revenue models, and multi-currency transactions.
• Key Tasks: Tracking accounts receivables, follow-ups on software subscription renewals, processing software vendor payouts, and calculating sales commissions/incentives for the business development team.

Position 2: Accountant – EGMTC Gold Trading Company

• Specific Focus: Managing high-value inventory, metal pricing fluctuations, and strict regulatory compliance.
• Key Tasks: Daily reconciliation of physical gold inventory vs. books, tracking live market gold fixes/hedging sheets, and strictly adhering to UAE Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT) compliance reporting.

Position 3: Accountant – Ahammed Jadeer General Trading Company

• Specific Focus: Supply chain financials, cost of goods sold (COGS), and international trade documentation.
• Key Tasks: Managing import/export documentation, Customs duty reconciliations, freight and logistics cost tracking, Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, and age analysis for both vendor and customer payments.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA, ACCA, or CMA semi-qualified status is a strong advantage).
• Experience: Strictly minimum 5 years of core accounting experience (prior UAE/Dubai market experience handling local compliance is preferred).
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, sap, tally , zoho , Pivot Tables) and specific industry ERPs.
• Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY & DESIRED SKILLS

• ERP & Accounting Software Mastery: Hands-on, practical expertise in managing books across major accounting platforms is mandatory. Candidates must have strong working knowledge of:
• SAP (FICO module) and Oracle Cloud/EBS
• Tally Prime / ERP 9
• Zoho Books and QuickBooks Enterprise
• Advanced Data Skills: Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel (including data manipulation, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (Professional qualifications like CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred).
• Experience: Strictly a minimum of 3 years of core accounting experience. Strong preference will be given to candidates with existing UAE market experience who can handle local compliance independently.
• Core Competency: Must possess an analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure during month-end closing periods.
