Job Role: Geotechnical Supervisor

Location: Abu Dhabi

The Geotechnical Supervisor is responsible for supervising geotechnical and ground-related site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise soil investigation, excavation, backfilling, compaction, and ground improvement works.

• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, surveyors, and testing laboratories.

• Monitor site activities, manpower, equipment, quality, and progress.

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and HSE requirements.

• Conduct inspections and maintain daily site and testing records.

• Identify ground/site issues and coordinate solutions with the engineering team.

• Ensure proper testing, sampling, and documentation of geotechnical works.

Requirements

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

• 5+ years of relevant geotechnical/site supervision experience.

• Good knowledge of soil investigation, excavation, compaction, and ground improvement.

• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
