Our client is a worldwide leader in the testing, inspection and certification sector, enhancing the quality and safety of
many organizations’ assets and infrastructures while safeguarding their operations and improving their environmental
performance.
In order to support and accelerate its digital transformation, while supporting the business growth strategy, the
company is looking for the AMEA region (Asia, Middle East, Africa) a professional to be based in the regional office in
Dubai, as the Regional Digitalization Manager.
Responsibilities:
Your key areas of responsibilities will involve mainly:
• Work with the corporate and divisional CTO and CIO to develop an integrated regional plan for digital systems
and applications.
• Liaise with Country Managers and regional functional heads across the region to understand the needs of the
business and its customers; support Project Managers in the selection and implementation of the best digital
solutions to get better projects results.
• Investigate, communicate, and advocate for digital solutions that have been successfully deployed in the
Division or in the Group, working with the IT and Innovation teams.
• Propose alternative means to improve service quality and productivity, with an obsessive focus on adding value
to the business through technology.
• Quantify the financial and commercial benefits and impact of digital technologies and work with the
Operations and Finance teams to define the case for investing in each new technology.
• Work with Country Managers and local teams to communicate the benefits of specific new projects and ensure
that the technology is understood and successfully adopted and implemented.
• Quantify the benefits post-implementation and identify opportunities for further development and
improvement.
Skills
To be successful in this role, you need to have
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and systems, including their application and utilization in
different contexts.
• Strong Service industry experience within field services, on-site project management of resources, etc..
• Solid project management and organizational skills with ability to plan activities and resources, budgets and
timelines.
• Business acumen with ability to understand local business needs and practices. Ability to translate business
needs into technical terms and solutions and ensure alignment to serve the business purpose. Ability to
translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical people.
• Financial acumen and cost effectiveness management.
• Ability to lead change and transformation in a challenging and complex cultural and organizational
environment and to overcome resistance to change. Transformational leadership and change management
skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong influential leadership with persuasive skills and ability
