We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting our signature burgers and sides, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Prepare and cook high-quality burgers, sides, and other menu items according to the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet the restaurant’s quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of food.
- Assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste through effective inventory and portion control.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills, particularly in preparing burgers and related dishes.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
