Inventory Coordinator

Reports to: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose:

To supervise warehouse Inventory operations based on Navision (WMS) Warehouse Management System. Responsible for Inventory accuracy/Transaction, evaluation of deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

Operations

• Oversee team of inventory or warehouse team. Communicates with inventory team to meet business goals and address personnel issues
• Collaborate with workers and managers to solve Inventory-related problems
• Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy and identify all operational problems in inventory
• Maintain records of all variances according to established procedures and ensure accuracy of all product transfers from one facility to other
• Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
• Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in inventory and resolve any discrepancies
• Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain planning
• Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records for same
• Administer all return shipments in case of any shortages and damages and communicate same to concern department.
• Monitor work of all inventory control personnel and ensure achievement of all objectives and provide constant improvements
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all storage locations
• Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and update processes
• Monitor all inventory control processes and documents all procedures to maintain all equipment’s and tools.
• Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to senior management
• Manage all inventory transactions and provide required feedback to team as required

Health and safety

• Assure safe working environment and immediately fix any violation to safety regulations
• Warehouse maintenance and Housekeeping across the warehouse.
• Maintaining temperature logs and warehouse housekeeping
• Ensure compliance of all Quality, Safety requirements as per legal requirements and company policy.
• Maintains a neat and tidy working environment, free from aisle obstruction, minimizing working hazards and potential risks.
• Responsible for the safety of all team members, reporting all incidents and accidents immediately to line managers.
• Exposure to varying temperature storage areas, Frozen, Chiller, Ambient and dry temperatures. Which is from -18 degrees to + 40 and above in summer.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as lifting, balancing, reaching, stooping, and the manual handling of a wide variety of different materials.

Skills

Experience requirement:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food/FMCG industry in Inventory Supervisor position
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English Language
• Data Analysis and Problem-solving skills.

Qualification and Licenses requirement:

• High School Certificates/Diploma
• Undergraduate Degree
