Business Development Manager

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers & opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and develop new business relationships.
  • Develop business plans & strategies to achieve the organization’s objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, developing long-term collaboration.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and commercial terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Presentation: Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
  • Leading & managing new projects & initiatives.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Maintain accurate reports on business development activities and performance metrics.

Skills

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development or senior sales position in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as required.
