Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Attendant Entry Operation at Dubai Parks & Resorts part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:


Responsible for the daily operation of assigned position in Entrance Operations including but not limited to Ticketing, Turnstiles, Group Sales, Annual Pass Processing, Guest Services, VIP Guest and Rental Services. Follows all cash handling and operating procedures of the assigned area and maintains a vigilant focus on positive guest service and strict revenue management.

Offer excellent guest service while meeting capacity objectives of the assigned position. Always polite, courteous and helpful. Entry Operations are the first impression of Dubai Parks & Resorts.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Handling and assisting the guests. Responsible for the operation of the entry operations position ensuring proper cash handling, exemplary guest service and positive employee relation whilst conveying a cheerful and positive guest experience attitude at all times.
  • Understands the products on offer and can relate these to the needs of the guest, suggesting the best ticket packages to maximize guest experiences and park revenue. Has good employee relations whilst conveying a cheerful and positive guest experience attitude at all times.
  • Daily operation of the entry operations position ensuring proper cash handling followed by the cash handling policy, exemplary guest service and positive employee relations
  • Performs duties as per SOP for the given area of work
  • Conveys cheerful and positive guest experience attitude at all times
  • Understands and appreciates the varying needs of guests and reacts accordingly in a helpful and proactive manner
  • Complete all position training and stays current on operational changes and signs off on any procedural change
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workstations and the working areas
  • To respect and follow the entry operations grooming standards at all the time
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team


Qualifications:

Essential: High school certificate or technical diploma

Desirable: College degree or technical diploma in similar stream


Experience:

Essential:

  • 3 years of previous experience in Service/ Entertainment/ Hospitality industry
  • Adapting to changing work environment whilst keeping a positive attitude
  • Hands-on operational experience in a cash handling area
  • Deliver exemplary guest service at all times

Desirable:

  • 2 years' experience in a cash handling area at a theme park, amusement park, water park or themed attraction / retail venue
  • Experience working at a start-up business at the opening
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Guest service skills training and certification

Desirable:

  • Theme Park cash handling experience preferred
  • Conversational in Arabic
