About the role :
On behalf of our client, The Management Recruitment Group is seeking a BIM Manager for one of the region's largest privately owned consultancies with a well-known history of delivering high-profile projects across various sectors within Saudi Arabia. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and ensure compliance across large-scale development projects.
Key Accountabilities :
• Manage BIM execution plans, coordinate BIM deliverables across various stages and ensure proper integration of data.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, ensuring compliance across projects, and integrating BIM with GIS data.
• Review and approve BIM plans from the design and construction team, lead design reviews, manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), and provide strategic guidance to align BIM deliverables with project goals.
• Oversee asset data, conducts audits, resolves BIM-related issues, and lead interdisciplinary checks to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review BIM Execution and Master Information Delivery Plans, facilitating interdisciplinary design checks
You will need to be :
The ideal candidate should have more than a decade of experience in BIM management, including a minimum of 5 years in a client-side or consulting role. They should have a track record of successfully delivering large-scale, multi-asset projects while managing several projects at once. Experience in design consultancy or in the construction phases of design is also required.
Background, Skills, and Qualifications :
• Over 12+ years of experience in BIM Management
• BIM Certification from BRE, RICS, or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of BIM & GIS standards, especially ISO 19650.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks), CDE platforms, and EDMS like Aconex.
• Experience in data visualisation, Power BI, and 4D/5D BIM.
• A solid understanding of quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
