We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tent Tailor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and customizing tents for various events and purposes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in tailoring, an eye for detail, and the ability to work with different materials such as canvas and polyester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and sew materials to create tents of various sizes and designs.
• Customize and alter tents to meet specific client requirements.
• Repair damaged tents by patching tears, replacing zippers, and reinforcing seams.
• Work with a range of fabrics such as canvas, nylon, and polyester.
• Maintain and operate tailoring equipment, such as sewing machines, cutting tools, and measuring tapes.
• Collaborate with the design and event planning team to ensure timely delivery and setup of tents.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for tent production and repairs.
• Adhere to deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Proven experience as a tailor, preferably with a focus on tents, canvas work, or similar materials.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately.
• Strong sewing and stitching skills, with experience using industrial sewing machines.
• Knowledge of different types of fabrics and how they perform in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina for handling large materials and long hours of sewing.
