• To be in charge for strategic and planning activities related to procurement operation and support the Procurement Director in updating and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing a procurement strategy that aligns with company’s strategic objectives, including optimizing speed of delivery and cost control.
• Assist in procurement planning, contract validation, sourcing, supplier relationships, and reporting for effective procurement management.
• Develop annual purchasing plans aligned with the budget and contributing to Procurement department's financial planning.
• Assist the Procurement Director in managing policies, ethics, and conflict resolution within the department
• Emphasize the importance of ethical and sustainable Procurement practices.
• Continuously identify opportunities for optimizing process efficiency and effectiveness
Skills
• 7+ years of experience in a Procurement role.
• Bachelor degree in relevant field e.g., business administration, operations management etc.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to handle and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent negotiation skills. Able to manage multiple senior stakeholders – with strong commercial acumen.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management and cost-saving initiatives
