We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician with a valid UAE driving license to provide technical support, manage IT infrastructure, and perform on-site service and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, networking, and supporting clients both remotely and in person.
Skills
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner and ensure service quality.
- Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and backups for client systems.
- Manage user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Conduct site visits to resolve technical issues and install/repair equipment.
- Maintain documentation for support tasks, system configurations, and client interactions.
- Provide training and assistance to users on IT tools and technologies.
- Ensure proper inventory management of IT hardware and software.
- Collaborate with internal teams on IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Office 365, and networking.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, installations, and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel for on-site support.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
