The Doris Duan-Young Autism Center (DDY) is a multidisciplinary center in Dubai Healthcare City that offers innovative and evidence-based programs and services backed by industry credentials, accreditations, and certifications.
DDY is currently looking for vibrant and dynamic candidates to join its growing team!
About the role:
- Duties include conducting a physical assessment for children with determination, developing treatment plans, assessing the work and home environments of the child, and developing physical rehabilitation programs.
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help the child with daily activities.
- Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help the child regain lost skills.
- Educating caregivers and family members of the child on patient care.
- Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on the child
- Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress to provide children with determination with the best treatment program available.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with complex needs and different disabilities such as autism spectrum and other developmental delays
- Preferably DHA license or DHA Eligibility letter holder
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluent in both Arabic & English (for Arabic Occupational Therapist)
- Passionate and caring individuals who love to work with children
