Job Purpose:
The government and regulatory officer would be responsible to attend queries of central bank, Police and courts all over UAE to fulfill all service requirements in a risk-free manner for customer or non-customer and to support the manager in achieving the goals set out by the Division Head. By supporting in development, implementation and maintaining all the government entities requirements, functions and controls to serve the regulators.
This position will also interact with respective branch managers; unit heads in addition to liaise between CIBG, RBG, Operations and HO to address all issues of the government entities.
Key Result Areas:
- Handling/ Monitor UAE Court Orders- received via “CCMS” Court Cases Management System and Courts official emails or courier.
- Monitor Qatar Court Orders “if required”.
- Monitor UAE Police Activity [ MB Bounced Chq Letters/enquiries routed from MOI /Public Prosecution /CID/Drop Box ] “if required”.
- Handling E-Mails Enquires & escalations.
- Ensure the correspondence are fully complied with all regulatory/authorities’ requirements and policies are strictly adhered to work on Increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through improvements to each correspondence, coordinate, manage and monitor the working of various activity.
- To drive initiatives in GRU that contributes a long-term operational excellence.
- Investigate & follow up issues with the stakeholders within Mashreq.
- Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
- Maintain and develop working relations with the regulators and other internal/external stakeholder (i.e Tech Team).
- As a checker you should ensure all responses and actions taken against the regulatory and Court’s notices are accurate and correct.
- Complete the RCSA process on monthly basis.
- Monitor the “Makers” tracker and pending queues “Read & Rejects “to avoid late responses/actions and comply with the orders within the determined TAT.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Knowledge of all Government Related and functional processes.
· The job holder should also possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle pressure.
· Computer literacy - should be well versed with MS Office packages.
