The Project Engineer – Fit Out position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the execution of fit-out projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the fit-out projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  2. Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  3. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  4. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  6. Assist in the procurement of materials and services required for the project.
  7. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to ensure alignment and resolve any issues.
  8. Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Review and approve project-related documentation, including contracts and change orders.
  10. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Skills

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant field
  • Must have 3 years-experience in UAE
  • Experience working on site relating to fit out projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and fit-out standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
