Oracle Functional Finance PPM & OTL Consultant

The Consultant will contribute to the business process and business realignment related work of Aldar Education. The Consultant will primarily collaborate with the core members across business functions in Aldar Education as well digital transformation team. The consultant will re-image, re-think, and re-design the way work is performed to encourage the organization towards fulfilling its mission and achieve extraordinary results.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Implement the Oracle Project Management, & Time Labor module across the group.
  • Implement the Dashboard and new reporting structure across the finance & HRMS
  • Providing the training to all Super user & end user.
  • Work with Implementation Partner for the Oracle Billing and collection solution with salesforce integration. 
  • Meet with end users to define and identify on-going business and operational requirements, including the resolution of existing system issues
  • Review, analyze and document business processes, workflow, and operating procedures to re-engineer and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Review and analyze issues and collaborate with senior management and various stakeholders to improve data flow management.
  • Plan, research, design, develop and launch efficient business financial systems guidelines and processes that can help users perform more efficiently and promote further support of financial, accounting, and corporate decision making.


Skills

Minimum Qualification:

  • Finance Graduate with 10 years of experience within a large complex multi-site organization.
  • Skilled in Process analysisye, re-engineering, and process automation. 
  • Combination of accounting, business process and system knowledge of financial systems – knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP is mandatory. Exposure to other ERP solutions (i.e. SAP Ariba, EBS) are a plus.
  • Collaborative leadership skills working with others to identify issues, design solutions, follow up with action, and evaluate results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to comprehend complex issues and present information in concise meaningful ways.
  • Experience with participatory methods, questionnaires is preferred.
  • Strong computer and financial application skills including ability to productively use spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and database applications

 

Minimum Experience:

•           Functional consultant with below detail.

•           5 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Finance Module.

•           1 to 3 year of Mandatory Experience in Oracle Cloud PPM, OTL module

•           Handled 3 to 5 Implementation in above module and 2 Support projects.

•           Experience with PaaS/Custom development

•           Experience Integrating with other Systems (i.e. SAP Ariba, Salesforce CRM)

•           Experience in education sector for billing and collection process will be plus point


Job Specific knowledge and skills:

  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Functions like Finance (AP, AR,GL,CM, Budgeting, iExpense, Intercompany), OTL, PPM, BI Report, OTBI, Dashboard, Sandbox, Page personalization.
  • Documentation: The purpose of the organizational goals should be defined clearly for any business to work hassle-free. These should be properly documented and charted out for an efficient operational flow. It is important to first understand the state of business clearly and then work around it towards the aspired goals. This requires an in-depth analysis and overall Business Process Reengineering.
  • Streamlining Operations: Help in streamlining the entire operational procedure and leaves the business with only the relevant processes and deleting all superfluous steps and processes.
  • Effectively testing the Application functionality, managing crisis, handling issues, and resolving bugs in the Application.
  • Communication skills that can effectively relay technical concepts to all stakeholders from staff to executives
  • Ability to interact with “C” level and to convey the concept and ensure buy-in from them.
