Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented Video Editor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for short-form video production, a strong sense of storytelling, and experience in managing video editing projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with a team of editors, animators, and other production staff, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and manage short-form video projects from planning through to delivery.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure engaging, high-quality output.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure video production is cutting-edge.
• Conduct quality checks on videos to ensure they meet standards and requirements.
• Edit videos to maintain and enhance production quality.
• Identify new trends and styles in content to increase viewership and engagement.
• Assist with project timelines and manage resources effectively.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
• Demonstrated experience working on short-form video content from concept to completion.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer).
• Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
• Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and other post-production processes.
• Understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management.

Project Management Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
