Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns in line with UAE Corporate Tax regulations, ensuring all tax liabilities are calculated and submitted on time.
  • Preparation of tax filings, tax planning, and corporate compliance as per FTA regulations
  • Maintain accurate records, including financial statements and tax documentation, for corporate tax filing purposes, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and FTA guidelines.
  • Assist in managing provisional tax payments, submissions, and corporate tax-related reporting.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for Corporate Tax filings, ensuring compliance with laws as well as international best practices 
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all tax-related documents, such as invoices, contracts, and proof of payments, in accordance with the FTA’s requirements.
  • Assist in responding to FTA audit queries and handle disputes in line with the FTA’s official process.
  • Reconcile all tax accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of tax liabilities and recoverable tax dues.
  • Prepare internal tax reports, provide accurate financial updates, and assist in the preparation of tax provisions, adjustments, and disclosures based on UAE tax regulations.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in any tax audit processes
  • Provide support to senior management and the tax team in identifying tax planning opportunities, ensuring the company maximizes tax benefits while maintaining compliance.
  • Assist in improving tax filing processes based on experiences and practices from Indian/Philippine/US tax systems, ensuring more efficient, accurate, and timely filing.
  • Implement best practices to streamline tax reporting and filing systems in the UAE.  
  • Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring accurate reporting of taxable supplies, VAT recoverable, and VAT payable.
  • Assist in VAT refund claims, tax audits, and resolving VAT disputes
  • Stay updated on UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulatory changes to ensure filings and records meet the latest requirements.
  • Assist in analysing tax data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement in tax processes.



Skills

Qualifications

  • Professionally qualified with ideally either ACA, ACCA, CTA or holding an equivalent qualification with previous experience in India or Philippines in Corporate Tax
  • Minimum One year work experience in UAE
  • Technical expertise and practical experience in corporate taxation and international tax
