Foreman Painter (Oil & Gas)
Location: UAE (Offshore/Onshore)
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage painting activities on oil and gas facilities, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are followed.
- Oversee a team of painters and ensure they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated.
- Ensure proper surface preparation, painting, and coating application for various equipment, pipelines, and structures.
- Inspect and monitor the quality of work, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other teams to schedule and complete tasks on time.
- Maintain inventory of painting supplies and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and safely used by the team.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control procedures on-site.
- Monitor and report on painting progress, providing updates to management and clients as needed.
- Identify any risks or issues that may impact project timelines and quality and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure the proper disposal of hazardous materials according to regulations.
Skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foreman Painter, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial painting techniques, coatings, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety manuals.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
- Good understanding of the equipment, materials, and tools required for industrial painting.
- Certification in painting/coating or relevant technical certifications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work in offshore/onshore environments.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks and work in challenging environments.
