Job Purpose:
The Senior Procurement and Finance Specialist will oversee and integrate procurement strategies with financial planning to ensure cost optimization and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong expertise in sourcing, financial management, and reporting, ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, benchmarks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
Finance:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support procurement decisions.
- Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable related to procurement activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow, income statements, and budget variances.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other financial regulations.
- Conduct financial risk assessments to support procurement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and strategies.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CIPS certification preferred).
- 5–7 years of combined experience in procurement and finance roles, preferably in Dubai
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle) and procurement software.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial and procurement regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- capitalizing on cost-saving opportunities, optimizing resource allocation, and instilling financial best practices to increase profitability and decrease organizational risk.
