Charter Sales Manager

Primary Duties: 

 

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for charter services.
  • Identify and generate new leads through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Engage with high-net-worth individuals, brokers, and corporate clients to understand their needs and propose tailored charter solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring maximum profitability while maintaining competitive service offerings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being the primary point of contact for all charter inquiries, offering 24/7 support when necessary.
  • Address client feedback and resolve issues promptly to enhance the overall charter experience.

 

Operational Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the operations and key account team to ensure the availability and readiness of aircraft for charter flights.
  • Work closely with the aircraft management team to optimize aircraft utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of flights, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report sales performance, preparing regular reports on key metrics such as revenue, booking rates, and client acquisition.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and feedback in the CRM system.

Skills

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years people management experience 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in charter sales within the private aviation industry. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network within the private aviation sector, including relationships with brokers, operators, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel and be available outside standard working hours as needed.

 

 

Job-Specific Skills:

 

  • Deep understanding of the Middle Eastern private aviation market.
  • Experience with a diverse range of aircraft types, including business jets.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Arabic, is an advantage.
