Kinetic has partnered with a leading Technology company who are hiring a Network Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Maintain computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers and other hardware devices.
• Install and configure network equipment.
• Create firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.
• Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for all systems
• Troubleshoot, resolve and communicate networking issues to the management.
• Stay updated with the latest and best practices related to security and networking to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.

Skills

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• Relevant certification (Huawei HCIE, Juniper JNCIP, Cisco CCNP) is a must.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Devices, WLAN & Security. Experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto is an advantage.
• Knowledge of network protocols and technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
