Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and ISO 22000.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities and equipment.
- Identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ingredient sourcing and evaluation.
- Conducting supplier checks to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Performing shelf-life studies to assess product stability.
- Developing and determining internal specifications for products and ingredients.
- Ensuring all products comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance in the food and beverage industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
