DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Intern in Dubai. Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Intern to be based in the IWS Team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Intern to join our dynamic team for a period of six months. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing supply chain data and identifying trends to improve efficiency.
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to track shipments and optimize delivery processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management review.
- Conduct market research to support supply chain strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts and terminology is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in supply chain or related fields is a plus, but not required.
- The candidate must be on self-sponsored visa either university visa or family sponsored.
