Position : Electrician – Crane Electrical

Job Description

To maintain and restore Cranes in the plant in order to achieve the optimum Crane/plant availability and quality for production with the minimum maintenance cost. To carry out both planned and unplanned Electrical maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, adjusting, calibrating and/or testing equipment to ensure it’s functioning in compliance with operating standards and available to meet production requirements

Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical School Graduate or Electrical/Electronic Diploma

Minimum Experience:

3 - 5 years of experience in similar role

Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):

Complete knowledge and understanding of plant, equipment and process in own area preferably in Steel Plant equipment’s and EOT Cranes.

Technical awareness of Electrical equipment.

Complete knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards

Ability to work in a team environment and sometimes independently with minimal supervision as the task may be from time to time

Strong conflict management, facilitation and resolution skills

Excellent use of the English (must).

Excellent relationship building skills

Extensive skill handling personnel from a multi-cultural work environment

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to scan the external environment and to understand the impact on the business

Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment.
