Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary arts, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
note: after one month training in (UAE) our main branch, willing to relocate in iraq we have soon to open branch for SHAGHF IRAQ
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry Preparation:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bread.
- Innovate and experiment with new recipes and flavors.
- Decorate and present pastries to ensure a visually appealing product.
- Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Inventory and Cost Management:
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Minimize waste and control costs while maximizing productivity.
- Hygiene and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate production and menu planning.
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Respond to customer preferences and requests for special orders or dietary needs.
- Adapt recipes to meet dietary restrictions without compromising quality.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
- Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creativity and attention to detail in pastry decoration and presentation.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
