Engineering Manager

Lead and manage the engineering team involved in construction projects. Oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction engineering activities. Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure all engineering deliverables align with project timelines, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate between architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design or technical issues. Supervise construction methods and practices to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Provide technical support to project managers, site engineers, and construction teams. Evaluate and implement innovative engineering solutions and construction technologies. Prepare progress reports, engineering documentation, and ensure timely submission of deliverables. Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies during the construction phase. Participate in project budgeting and resource planning from an engineering perspective.

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is an advantage. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, design standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, etc.) and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Professional Engineering License (PE) or equivalent certification preferred.
