Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing QA/QC activities for structural works in oil & gas projects, both at the office and on-site. Ensures all structural fabrication, welding, and installation activities meet project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform QA/QC inspections for structural fabrication and site erection. Review drawings, material certificates, WPS/PQR, ITPs, and quality procedures. Monitor welding, fitting, assembly, and installation of structural components at site. Support office-based engineering reviews, technical evaluations, and coordination. Ensure compliance with oil & gas quality standards and client requirements. Review NCRs, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain QA/QC documentation. Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and client representatives. Prepare inspection reports and support internal/external audits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering or related field. 15+ years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry. Strong expertise in structural, welding, fabrication, and site construction. Familiar with AWS, ASME, AISC, ISO standards. Experience working with EPC contractors or major oil & gas clients. Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
