The Assistant Chef supports the Head Chef in preparing and presenting healthy, high-quality meals while maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of nutritious cooking methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of healthy dishes according to standardized recipes and portion control
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and plating
  • Ensure all food is prepared following health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Help with ingredient preparation, storage, and stock rotation
  • Follow dietary guidelines (low-fat, low-sugar, high-protein, etc.) as required
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support the team when needed

Requirements

Skills

:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or healthy food concept preferred
  • Basic knowledge of healthy cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Strong time management and cleanliness standards
  • Physically able to stand for long hours and handle kitchen tasks
