Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients).
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils at all times.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items according to hygiene regulations.
  • Help with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Dispose of waste correctly and keep waste areas clean.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations strictly.
  • Support the kitchen during busy service periods as required.
  • Report damaged equipment or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
