Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients).
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils at all times.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently.
- Ensure proper storage of food items according to hygiene regulations.
- Help with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
- Dispose of waste correctly and keep waste areas clean.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations strictly.
- Support the kitchen during busy service periods as required.
- Report damaged equipment or safety issues to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
