Role Purpose:
Conduct daily inspections, ensure site works follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect excavation, bedding, pipe laying (uPVC/GRP/HDPE), chambers, road layers, and reinstatement.
- Verify compliance with ITPs and method statements.
- Maintain inspection requests (IRs), daily logs, and NCRs.
- Check safety measures and housekeeping on site.
- Witness field testing: compaction, pressure tests, CCTV for sewer, manhole tests.
- Report deviations immediately to ARE/RE.
Skills
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–8 years experience in infrastructure inspection.
- Experience in wet utilities and roads is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple work fronts.
