Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Scandinavian Chef with European culinary background to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Scandinavian and modern European cuisine, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency while supporting the overall culinary vision of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present authentic Scandinavian and European dishes according to restaurant standards
  • Design, develop, and improve menu items with a focus on quality, taste, and presentation
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and portion control
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Manage food preparation, cooking schedules, and plating during service
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Control food waste and assist in cost management
  • Follow company policies and kitchen procedures at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Scandinavian Chef or European Cuisine Chef
  • Strong knowledge of Scandinavian and European cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Professional culinary training or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality cuisine
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • European nationality preferred
