This is a full-time position for a Safety Officer based on-site in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or other emirates. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and implementing safety protocols. The role involves delivering safety training, auditing safety practices, investigating incidents, maintaining safety records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to promote workplace safety.
Skills
Proven expertise in risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementation of safety protocols
Experience in delivering safety training and conducting safety audits
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
Proficiency in report writing and maintaining accurate safety records
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle incident investigations and implement corrective actions effectively
Relevant certifications in occupational health & safety or related fields are a plus (Nebosh IGC etc.)
At least 2 years' experience in the construction or industrial sector
Valid UAE driving license is required.
