Overview Of The Role:

The Branch Manager will lead Al-Futtaim Technologies' Sales and Business Development operations in Abu Dhabi, driving the implementation of the company’s strategic goals and expanding its market presence in smart infrastructure and digital transformation solutions. This role is key to enhancing business growth and aligning with the strategic vision to empower regional businesses with integrated technological advancements.

Operating within a dynamic and fast-evolving smart infrastructure (ELV, SSLV, ICT, BMS, BCA) and digital Transformation (Contact Centers, Business Applications, IoT) businesses, the Branch Manager will leverage Al-Futtaim Technologies' strengths in integrated technology solutions to secure a leadership position in Abu Dhabi. The role demands a proactive approach to adapting to market trends and leading through changes, ensuring that the strategic objectives are met efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

To lead Al-Futtaim Technologies in Abu Dhabi effectively, the Branch Manager will lead the sales and business development of comprehensive Smart Infrastructure and digital solutions by overseeing a variety of strategic and operational tasks, including:

 

Strategic Market Penetration: To spearhead market analysis and development strategies to position Al-Futtaim as a leader in traditional and emerging technologies. This includes conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities and orchestrating targeted campaigns to capture these markets.

 

Typical outputs from the above will include:

  • Total Responsibility for Sales and Business Development in Abu Dhabi.
  • Development of tailored proposals that detail the architectural framework and strategic impact of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Creation of case studies and customer success stories demonstrating before-and-after scenarios, highlighting the transformative impact of Al-Futtaim’s solutions.
  • High-level cost-benefit analyses and business models to assist prospective clients in understanding the potential ROI of investing in our technology solutions.
  • Visionary sessions with clients to refine their digital strategies, utilising Al-Futtaim’s technology stack to enhance operational effectiveness and customer engagement.

Operational Excellence Initiatives: Drive initiatives to refine operational processes to ensure that they not only meet but exceed the global standards of efficiency and productivity expected from leading technology solutions providers.

Leadership and Team Development: Mentor a team of managers and specialists to cultivate a culture of innovation and responsiveness. Ensure the team is well-prepared to meet the challenges of the rapidly evolving tech landscape and client demands.

 

Other Tasks:

  • Oversee the preparation and response to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that all client requirements are met and that Al-Futtaim’s solutions are effectively communicated and understood.
  • Actively participate in and occasionally lead demonstrations at Al-Futtaim’s Customer Experience Centre to articulate the value and versatility of our solutions.

Ensure comprehensive documentation and tracking of all sales and pre-sales activities to facilitate seamless transitions from sales to implementation, thus enhancing customer satisfaction and project success rates

 


What You Will Do:

Revenue Growth: Drive efforts to double revenue by 2028 through strategic client engagements and expanding service offerings. 

Strategic Leadership: Align Saudi operations with the UAE strategy, focusing on smart infrastructure, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. 

Market Expansion: Lead market penetration and development strategies, particularly in emerging sectors identified in the strategy, such as Enterprise Technology and BCAV.

Operational Excellence: Enhance operational processes and efficiencies, aligning with global standards and practices.

Team Leadership: Develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals, fostering a culture of innovation and client-centric solutions.

 

Skills

Required Skills To Be Successful:

Minimum Requirements / Experience:

  • Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • 10 years of experience in a Sales / BD role.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a leadership role within the ICT industry, managing large-scale operations and teams.
  • Deep technical expertise and a proven track record in smart infrastructure and digital transformation, including integrating IoT, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and innovative technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, revenue growth, and market penetration within competitive sectors.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory and business environments in Saudi Arabia, including local compliance and market entry strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost optimisation, and financial forecasting.
  • Experience building partnerships and stakeholder management at senior levels within multinational and multicultural environments.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing high-level stakeholders and leading corporate presentations.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic are a must.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

 Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration, Technology Management, or related discipline.

 

Certifications:

  • Essential leadership and technology management certifications, such as PMP and ITIL, are a plus.
  • Desirable: Advanced certifications related to cybersecurity, cloud technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure), or other relevant fields.
