Job Description

German Printing Press is hiring a Graphic Designer with experience in printing and packaging design. The role focuses on commercial printing and packaging projects, mainly for food and beverage clients.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with print production processes, artwork preparation, and layout planning. Previous experience in a printing press or packaging company is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design packaging artwork for food and beverage products
• Create designs for printed materials such as menus, flyers, brochures, labels, and cartons
• Prepare print-ready files with correct bleed, trim, and color settings
• Calculate and plan N-ups (Ups) and sheet layouts for printing
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate printing output
• Make revisions based on client and production feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with food and beverage brands
• Familiarity with offset, digital, or flexographic printing

Skills

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a graphic designer
• Experience in a printing press or packaging environment
• Knowledge of N-up calculation and layout planning
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Understanding of CMYK colors, Pantone, and print finishing
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
